El Palais Bu-Sché is an elegant and affordable banquet facility located in the heart of the Austin area near Washington & Cicero. Located in the adjoining building, El Palais Bu-Sché proudly supports NEBC Employment Resource Services through sharing its professional kitchen with chefs of tomorrow participating in NEBC's youth programs. AFter School Matters
After School Matters® is a non-profit organization that provides life-changing after-school and summer program opportunities to more than 15,000 Chicago high school teens each year. NEBC is proud to partner with After School Matters in providing teens with opportunities to discover their potential and find their future. (Source)
Justice Advisory Council
Under the direction of Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle, the Cook County Justice Advisory Council (JAC) is charged with the coordination and implementation of the President’s criminal and juvenile justice reform efforts and public safety policy development. The specific goals of the JAC include working collaboratively with the county’s public safety stakeholders towards the specific goals of safely reducing the population of the Cook County Jail and Cook County Juvenile Temporary Detention Center while preserving public safety, reducing recidivism, and promoting fair and equitable access to justice.
